Says Who

Says Who is a London-based design duo, Rosie Shackleton and Charlotte Mitchell, producing homeware, stationery and gifting with a strong graphic identity. The work leans on bold type and illustrative colour, with each release produced in small runs across UK and European printers and manufacturers.

The studio's strongest work is in typographic and graphic homeware, prints, cards, ceramics and textiles that lead with a single strong message or motif. The sensibility is British, illustrative and deliberately joyful rather than minimalist.

Production is kept close to home, primarily through UK printers, ceramicists and textile mills, with a small number of European workshops on collections where the material calls for it. Every supplier is named on the studio's transparency page.

Much of the range is built specifically for gifting, boxed ceramics, framed prints, stationery sets, with considered packaging that presents well straight out of the parcel. Personalisation is available on select lines.

The studio uses archival inks on acid-free paper, which hold colour considerably longer than standard reproduction prints. Direct sunlight will still gradually lighten any print; UV-filtered glass in the frame extends the life significantly.
