New Lighting

Our newest designer lighting arrivals gather the freshest pendants, table lamps, floor lamps and wall lights from the AW25 season, spanning sculptural statement pieces and quieter everyday designs. Collaborations with independent studios and long-standing heritage brands sit alongside each other, chosen for how the light falls as much as how each piece looks unlit. Every fixture comes tested for UK standards.

The AW25 drop leans into warmer metals, fluted glass and rice-paper shades, reflecting a wider move away from stark white light. Sculptural floor lamps and oversized pendants are strongly represented, acting as architecture as much as illumination. Portable rechargeable lights continue to expand as a category.

Pendants suit rooms with ceiling heights above 2.4m, where the drop can read without crowding the space. Flush and semi-flush fittings are the right choice for standard-height flats and hallways, keeping the eye line clear. Matching the fitting to ceiling height matters more than matching to room size.

All our lighting works with LED lamps unless specifically noted, and most current designs come with dimmable drivers. Swapping to a high-CRI LED bulb of the correct colour temperature transforms how the fixture renders skin tones and materials. The lighting buying guide covers bulb choice in detail.

Buying lighting as a scheme lets you balance ambient, task and accent sources from the start, which is much harder to retrofit. Starting with the architectural pieces (ceiling and wall) and layering portable lamps later works well. Mixing metal finishes across a scheme usually reads more considered than strict matching.
