    Artisan produces solid-timber furniture in small runs from a single workshop in Bosnia. Each piece is hand-finished, with the grain selected and matched at component level – something almost impossible to reproduce at mass-market scale. The result is furniture where no two pieces are identical.

    Solid oak, walnut and cherry form the backbone of the collection. The brand favours timbers from European forests and uses oil rather than lacquer finishes, which lets the wood breathe and develop patina over decades of use.

    Solid hardwood with an oil finish handles family life well. Surface marks can usually be sanded and re-oiled at home rather than requiring professional restoration. The joinery is robust enough to outlast veneered alternatives by a generation or more.

    Properly cared for, Artisan furniture is engineered to last fifty years or more. The combination of solid timber, traditional joinery and refurbishable finish means the piece is designed to be inherited rather than replaced.
