The Slab Desk by Tom Dixon is a strikingly contemporary take on the traditional Victorian school desk. Crafted in solid oak with softly rounded edges and a beautifully expressed grain, each piece is carefully sanded and lacquered to highlight the natural character of the timber. Available in Natural or Fumed Oak finishes, it brings warmth and refinement to the modern home office.

Designed for considered daily use, Slab combines clean lines with clever functionality. A deep, full-width groove keeps pens and small accessories to hand, while an inkwell-inspired cable hole offers discreet wire management for a tidy workspace. With its compact footprint, it’s perfect for work-from-home setups and study spaces alike.

Heal’s uses our own specialist two-man crews, who will deliver to a room of your choice. They will fully assemble your furniture, check their work and the remove all packaging, which will disposed of responsibly.

Contact us and we will arrange for a crew to come out and collect the furniture. There's no charge if it's faulty, but we do charge for change-of-mind returns.
