Windsor Rocker In Walnut
- Product Details
- Product Story
A continuous curve design gives the traditional Windsor rocker a modern organic form
Using sustainably sourced wood that is grown locally to where the chairs are made, each Windsor rocker is made using a mix of traditional British furniture craft and steam bending process pioneered in the late 19th century.
Rows of heritage style spindles mirror each other by joining to the top and bottom of the continuously curved frame.
At the centre of the design, the seat of the rocker has a gentle, shaped recess offering a comfortable sit as the frame gently rocks.
Available in a choice of ash, walnut or a combination of the two materials, the arch of each rocker is finished with a hard-wax oil while the walnut spindles are given a protective clear lacquer.
Made to order, each chair is then inspected and signed off by Katie Walker herself and placed in a protective cotton bag ready to be sent to its new home.
