The Vuelo Cushion pays homage to architect Jørn Utzon’s artistic sensitivity to natural forms, featuring embroidered artwork that reproduces his bird sketches.
Product Story
‘Vuelo’ references the Spanish word for ‘flight’ and captures the grace inherent to the bird motif. Crafted from chambray cotton-linen fabric in a rectangular format, the cushion features contrasting cotton thread embroidery, adding tactile and visual depth. The flowing lines of the bird sketches evoke movement and organic form, reflecting the spatial fluidity and openness of Can Lis, Utzon's Mallorcan home.
