"Inspired by the drama of the Scottish landscape, from the salmon rivers my dad fished, to the simplicity of a turquoise bay, these new paintings explore the power of colour to lift the spirit. I’ve indulged in the beautiful lushness of oil paint to express rivers, coasts, skies and hills. These paintings come from memory about the feeling of place, and the energy in wind and water.
