Each coaster has been coated with 2 layers of penetrating sealer, which is absorbed into the pores, and a surface sealer, which gives a thin physical barrier on the top of the coaster

Remove liquids or dirt from the surface with a damp cloth immediately to ensure they are not absorbed into the coaster
