The OW149 Colonial Armchair was designed by Ole Wanscher in 1959. As a minimalist, Wanscher used slim and refined proportions to create a striking piece. Yet despite its slender dimensions, its impeccably sturdy with strength lying in its carefully designed bracing. Sophisticated and defined, the design boasts signature slightly curved armrests that rise to a point before taking a turn down-wood. While the roundwood timber front and back legs curve gently outward for adding stability and refinement. A modern design with historical roots, it makes the perfect addition to contemporary homes.
