Product Story

A sculptural modular suspension lamp, the Luce Sferica lamp by Ronan Bouroullec combines the poetic beauty of a handcrafted product with an industrial, functional spirit. It emits a diffused light that is simultaneously efficient, delicate, and gentle, ideal for illuminating large tables in private homes and hospitality settings, as well as museum spaces and architectural interiors.

  • The lamp is composed of a highly technical horizontal body in polished extruded aluminium, which houses two LED strips: one emitting light upwards, the other downwards.

  • At one end of the bar is an innovative touch dimmer that allows users to select upward or downward light emission – or both – and to dim each output independently.

  • The lamp body is encased in a series of light, transparent glass spheres of equal diameter, crafted using the refined, centuries-old technique of glass blowing.
