While it’s refined, minimal look hints to the aesthetics of Japanese interiors, this range originates from a Windsor chair design created as part of a crafting retreat in the British woodlands. A graceful Windsor chair that mixes Japanese style and British craft

Fashioned from a flexible moist green timber, this chair relies on traditional wood-turning techniques and hammered joints to achieve its smooth finish.

Full of subtle details, the large seat has a curved indentation sculpted to fit the contours of the body while along the backrest a row of spindles gives it that classic Windsor look.

To maintain such quality, each piece is handmade by specialists craftsmen in Coventry and is available in a range of solid woods including oak, ask and walnut.
