This portable table lamp takes its name from Hypatia ' the Greek philosopher and mathematician believed to be ancient Alexandria's greatest female scholar. Stainless-steel mesh is moulded into an elegant sculptural form by hand, built around an integrated LED light source that casts a warm white glow. The battery is rechargeable and the materials are weather-resistant, meaning you can take the lamp with you anywhere. It's also supplied with a remote control for dimming so you can create the desired ambience on the go.
