The Gyro Crystal chandelier is inspired by nineteenth century experimental physicist Leon Foucault’s Gyroscope: a device used for measuring orientation. The gyroscope has been reinterpreted into a framework of aged metal spheres fixed around a crystal chandelier nucleus, boldly contrasting the masculine industrial look of the scientific instrument with the more feminine romantic look of the precision cut glass.
Iconic handcrafted design
Tradition collided with innovation: classic chandelier enclosed within a spherical cage
Metal spheres are authentically rusted for an aged, industrial feel
Faceted crystals, made from both optical grade and polished glass, sparkle as they catch the light for a soft and romantic effect
Full Gyro Crystal collection available in store, including various sized chandeliers, sconce, table and floor lamp. Natural metal finish also available in store
