The story behind this product
With this collection, Gaspar resolves the challenge of using wood – a material notoriously difficult to mould, yet desirable to use due to its strong associations with cosy lighting.
Thanks to a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, the new portable table version of Ginger allows spaces to be lit independently with no need for wires. The combination of sheets of wood, paper and resins pressed together under high pressure achieves a laminate that appears almost entirely flat, which discreetly lights up spaces.

Operated by a rechargable battery the ginger table lamp is extremly portable and easily moved from room to room.

Through the use of high pressure shaping of several layers of wood and paper pressed together, a very thin laminate lamp plate is formed, that appears almost entirely flat.
