Left untreated, teak naturally evens out in colour over time, developing a beautiful silvery patina. To maintain its warm, honey-golden tone, apply a suitable furniture oil regularly.
To clean spots on the rope, use a mist of soapy water with a spray bottle and then work the solution into the rope with a soft cloth. Rinse the solution thoroughly, blot excess moisture, and air-dry.
Use a fabric and upholstery protector on the rope for optimal stain resistance. Never use a high-pressure hose on acrylic rope.
For added longevity, store indoors in an unheated space during winter.
