Care & Buying Guide

  • Humidity, temperature, UV light and natural wear have a greater or lesser effect on the colour of woods, depending on the variety. UV light, in particular, affects all types of wood, including American cherry.

  • To ensure that the entire surface of a wooden object changes shade at the same rate, it is advisable not to cover parts of it with cloths, vases or other items for the first few weeks of use, as this may result in visible differences in colour. Even if this occurs, the differences will gradually disappear again if the entire surface is evenly exposed to UV light.
