Product Story
"So many elements of my childhood have inspired my work - from Dad’s Ice Cream etching, Cornets and Screwballs Etching, Mint, Rocket Lolly Etching to Blue Eyed Tiger. These works in particular have taken my parents as a huge source of inspiration. My father’s ice cream van, complete with a large Bengal tiger figurine attached to the roof, has led to the incorporation of ice cream imagery and depictions of the majestic tiger throughout my practice. The symbols on display in these pieces all draw on my upbringing in a working class Hindu Punjabi family in Liverpool."
