The story behind this product

Inspired by the classic silhouette of Windsor style rocking chairs, the Comback replaces wooden spindles with a colourful geometric pattern. Moulded from a durable thermoplastic, this award-winning Patricia Urquiola design sits on a curved oak frame that gives it’s a gentle rocking motion.

Meet the designer

Patricia Urquiola

Born 1961 in Oviedo, Spain, Patricia Urquiola relocated to Milan in the late 1980s to study architecture and has remained a mainstay of the design scene ever since. Having collaborated with the cream of the Italian design including the likes of Achille Castiglioni, Vico Magistretti and Piero Lissoni, in 2001 she set up her own design studio.
