Born out of necessity in 1943, the Chairmakers Rocking Chair was created when Ercol was commissioned by the Board of Trade to design a production-friendly Windsor chair. Designed by Lucian Ercolani, it pairs elegant simplicity with traditional craftsmanship. Featuring a spindle backrest with eight finely turned spindles and a solid ash frame, this mid-century icon continues to charm.
