These elegant tactile mugs are perfect for lovers of design and colour featuring an historical colour matching system dating back to the 1930s when dyed strips of ribbon and wool were used to specify the colour of everything from military uniforms to post boxes. This became known as the British Colour Standard. Produced in Stoke on Trent these fine bone china mugs evocative names chosen in 1931 for each colour.
