Whoopee, cushions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Disguise a tired sofa with your\nfavourite cushions and a sumptuously smooth throw. This will bring a touch of\nyour personality to a bland rental property.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cover up worn carpets or add\nintrigue to floorboards using large rugs and runners. Be careful not to buy\nrugs that fit your space exactly as they could soon become redundant when you move\nnext. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If your rental is plagued by unattractive\nblinds or windows, a pair of curtains could do the trick. A lick of paint<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Many renters stay away from painting in order to avoid\nangering their landlords. However, a fresh coat of paint, even if it\u2019s in a\nsimilar colour, will do wonders for a room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Existing paint in rental flats is often basic white or\nmagnolia and may bear marks left by previous tenants. Giving key rooms a lick\nof paint using a white hue that\u2019s right for you will make the space feel more welcoming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As every white paint is different, we recommend applying a\nfew sample coats to help you decide the right colour.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns are-vertically-aligned-center is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-8f761849 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-vertically-aligned-center is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. Select one that it more suited to your tastes and diffuses the light around the room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you find spotlights too\nbright, then invest in lamps to create a more familiar ambience. If using lamps\nthen we recommend positioning them at various levels for a welcoming glow. Urban jungle<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you\u2019re living in a home with\nno garden, plants are a great way to bring the outdoors in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Air-purifying plants like Japanese\nPeace Lilies, Aloe Vera and ferns will make your room feel fresher. Sweat the small stuff<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Gently remove existing drawer pulls and cabinet knobs\n(making sure to store them somewhere safe) and replace them with something more\nto your taste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The same can be said for light switches and plug sockets.\nNew fixtures are often quite affordable and can make a big difference to a\nroom. Make sure to enlist the help of an electrician rather than attempting to\nremove fixtures yourself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If your kitchen cabinets are looking a little tired then changing\nthe doors could be a simple fix. Remember, you\u2019ll need enough space to store\nthe old doors as they\u2019ll need refitting when you moving out.
