Perhaps the most iconic of them all\u00a0are the 1950s\u00a0poster designs of Charles Feeney, their bold style\u00a0capturing the optimism of the era and many of which have\u00a0featured on our vintage series of <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><a style=\"color: #ff6600;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.heals.com\/home-accessories\/kitchen\/kitchen-linens.html\">kitchen linens<\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>Despite having produced some of Heal&#8217;s most iconic poster designs, Charles Feeney is largely unknown outside of the business and even then\u00a0information is hard to come by. What we do know is that Feeney&#8217;s primary role was as\u00a0in-house display manager for <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><a style=\"color: #ff6600;\" href=\"\/stores\">our stores<\/a><\/span>, or as we call it nowadays a Visual Merchandiser, in charge of the window displays and general appearance of the showrooms.<\/p>\n<p>While images from the time testify to his great skill in the role, it&#8217;s his eye-catching poster designs that have left a lasting legacy.
