The Great Indoors

Pendleton National Park Throws

As the summer sun fades and Autumnal winds pick up, we’re reaching for these wonderfully warm and cosy Pendleton throws. Bringing together two great American institutions, this collection celebrates the rugged beauty of the nation’s national parks providing the perfect pieces for your home.

Still made within Pendleton’s woollen mills in the Pacific Northwest, the National Park series started life in 1916 when railroad magnate James J. Hill approached the textile specialists to design a one-of-a-kind blanket for guests of his Glacier Park lodges.

As time has passed, Pendleton have continued to expand the collection to produce a variety of colourful striped designs each representing a different park. To get a feel for these soft woollen throws, why not visit us in store or see the range in full on our website?
