Create a statement: Refresh your room with floor lighting

We all want maximum impact(or effect?), minimum effort. That statement usually only applies to work, but there is a certain satisfaction brought by changing the whole look of a room using a single piece. For the photo shoot we set up, the chairs we went with are pretty outgoing too, but you get the idea. In this article we look at ways to create a statement

For this shot we’ve chosen a hand crafted range from one of our favourite designer makers Tedwood, who makes each lamp by hand in his workshop in Suffolk from all locally, sustainably sourced materials. Ted’s love of natural materials comes in the form of inspiration from his father, who is a boat-builder. We’ve used a combination of plug in lamps, ideal if you are renting or don’t want to commit to fixing a lamp in a certain part of your room. These lights both have an oval, oyster shaped end to the shade, which helps cast a warm, flooding light to a room – particularly the Plug In Lamp which can be positioned or hung in any way your imagination lets you…

It seemed only fair to feature the natural Legno Table and Hidde chair to add to the look. Also featured is a not so natural faux fur
