The Aviator Tomcat takes its cue from military aviation history, inspired by the twin-cockpit seats of the F-14 Tomcat which was deployed by the U.S. Navy for some of its most prolific missions in the 1970s. The chair’s aerodynamic curves are hugged in riveted aluminium, inspired by the World War II British Supermarine Spitfire, put through a five-stage process to distress the metal and create the unique Spitfire finish. The Aviator Tomcat was the winner of the Luxuria award for Most Innovative Product Design in 2010.

Care & Buying Guide
LEATHER:
Lightly dust and vacuum on a regular basis.
Do not place your leather too close to a heat source, as it may cause it to crack and age prematurely.
Protect your leather from direct sunlight and moonlight, as it may cause it to fade, discolour or crack. All leathers will fade over time, but darker colours may fade faster in direct sunlight.
Avoid sitting on the arms, back or very edge of your leather furniture as this may cause distortion and/or damage
Not suitable for leather wipes or any care products
SPITFIRE ALUMINIUM:
Wipe up spills immediately using a clean dry cloth.
Clean regularly using a soft cloth dampened and a diluted solution of mild detergent and warm water. Dry with a soft cloth.
Do not use bleach or use any detergent containing sulphuric or hydrochloric acid.
Avoid the use of steel wool or scouring pads as these may scratch and damage the metal surface.
To remove stains we recommend the cleaning product Brasso. To retain the matt finish of Aero and Spitfire products be careful not to over buff when using Brasso.
